So. I am now a Parisite^H^Han. I have a nice office, lots of natural light, to share with one other person. The nice computer person will give me a shiny Powerbook thingy next week, so my filthy windows machine does not contaminate his lovely clean network. I have a good temporary accomodation whilst we search for an appartement

BBC iPlayer isn't supposed to work from non-UK IP-addresses.

No. BBC non-radio iPlayer is not supposed to work. The radio should, but the required port, 554, is blocked by the wireless network (it no likely p2p, etc.).

In any case, my Imperial account still works, so for at least a short time I have complete iPlayer access through the miracle of ssh port forwarding. Fear my leetness.
