People spend so much time preparing for an evening of festivities; yet they do so, because other people will see them. not to sound gay or girly or anything but i know exactly what you mean...

when im having an off day and im not walkin with God throughout my day.. i tend to seek out peoples attention and praise more than usual.. when i dont have my identity and satisfaction in the Lord, i will try to find that feeling of belonging and appreciation in others..

its just a stupid human thing i guess... the sad part is were always turning away from the one who will never stop loving us.

I caught myself the other day wearing something cute because I thought that people would look. They didn't, like always, and of course I got down. Then I realized how ridiculous it was. It's funny, too, because I'm all right with myself now, I don't feel like I need to seek the approval of others anymore, but yet, I caught myself doing it regardless.

I see what you're saying. And you're not being girly or sounding gay; I do think guys feel that way sometimes, just not as often as girls.
