Though I think the only thing I really didn't like/bothered me was that she thought Aang wouldn't understand what she felt and what she said to Sokka. That was uncalled for in any situation.
But otherwise I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. :D
I think that image of Azula was the first time I actually found her hot while watching the show. GOD I LOVE IT THAT SHE IS GOING BATSHIT. <3

I thought it was more that she knew Aang was right, but didn't want to admit it to herself. Like, quite obviously, Aang has gone through more than anyone else. And while he has some serious avoidance issues, (ex: Kill the Firelord? What?) he's also been able to deal with it the most effectively. Katara's not blind to that, just stubborn.
What she said to Sokka is just coming back to how effectively Katara hurts people. It's the flip side of her being so maternal, protective, and empathetic. Because she pays such close attention to people, usually to care for them, she knows exactly how to inflict the most damage when she's on the other side.
It was painful to hear... but I think it was supposed to be. Katara is not always a nice person and the show admits it. We're supposed to think that it was out of line, y'know?

A parallel between the two? Aang being able to forgive right away (blaming himself mostly) and Katara with the right resources would rather have her revenge then think about forgiving? And her knowing that would rather ignore what Aang has to say and go what she thinks is right?
I think that's what I love about her, that she can be the most gentle person but at the same time one of the most ruthless. (We hurt the ones we love? kinda thing right there.) I think just what she said just struck a cord with me.
And it was a powerful line, it just showed how much anger she had that she was able to say those things without really thinking about it.
I'm not good with words so I hope that I was able to show that I agreed with what you said and everything? I fail if I didn't D:
