A friend's post today got me looking at some more horse books or horse related things for the eldest, who is in a stage of 'girl and her horse' books right now. I loved horse stories when I was about her age, though not so much of the "girl and her horse" as much as books about real horses, I grew up on the fringe around horses, mainly through my ( Read more... ) -

Relieved? Why do I still feel like I failed?
My company laid me off today. I am not surprised.
Actually, about 30%-35% of us. Economy, need to make business profitable, will call you back when we are above ground again, blah, blah, blah.
Still, I feel bad that the work I was doing, or trying to do, wasn't good enough to remain in the staff. Yet, one door closes and another opens and all -
