yeah, that's all. i'm not much of a livejournaler.

i feel the need to announce to the world my college results:

Calvin - accepted
Wheaton - accepted
University of Chicago - accepted
Davidson - waitlisted
Tufts - accepted
Rice - waitlisted
Stanford - rejected

i'm definitely not going to davidson (or stanford). that leaves 5. hmm.

caution: the following is me whining for a really long time about getting a flat tire. you probably don't really care and i'll probably whine to you about it in person sometime, so feel free to not read it ( Read more... )

I soooo just finished my application to University of Chicago. I am soooo going to bed. last night i did the financial aid forms, and they are soooo going to give me like $40,000 a year. no doubt ( Read more... )

so if i want to send my SAT scores to a school, it costs $7 per school and takes 3 to 5 weeks.  not realizing it took over a month for a machine to stick my scores in an envelope and put it in the mail, i have 4 weeks left to get my scores to college.  so what's my other option?  spend $24, plus $7 per school, and get them sent in 2 days.

so i was at camp taconic for family camp for the week. it was good - nice and relaxing, you know... here's what i accomplished:

• finished reading a prayer for owen meany
• read the notebook
• started reading one flew over the cuckoo's nest
• passed my road test (yay!)
• learned to crochet, started making a scarf
