So the teeny-laptop died last week and I'm now accessing the internet from the library over the road (which means I can actually see the house whilst I type). I am now rationed to 1 hours access a day, which is good for me as I can no longer spend fruitless hours browsing sites and playing Tetris.

I've always seen myself as a logical person and have tended to neglect creativity (although I would argue that writing good code or developing elegant solutions is a fairly creative process). Since leaving D&T I've been tying out a few things.
Doing a bit of voluntary work for the Dr Hadwen Trust has beeen interesting. They raise funds for alternatives to animal testing, which is a worthwhile and pragmatic cause.
