If i couldn't study chemistry, i would want to devote my life to music, specifically classical voice.

But i'm not sure i would survive if i couldn't study chemistry.

ps- french existentialism ROCKS.

If I gave up chemistry I'd become an itinerant musician. I need to learn an instrument smaller than the cello, though. Maybe an itinerant swordfighter then? I always liked The Seven Samurai. There doesn't seem to be much of a market for that sort of thing nowadays though.

My big passion is my work (always a good equation to work in the field you enjoy). I work with children - as a substitute teacher for K-8 students currently and soon as a lead teacher in a 3 and 4-year-old room at a child care center.

If I had to give up my job, I'd probably go back to school and study to be a psychologist. I really enjoyed psychology in college and high school -- the inner-workings of our minds are so interesting and complex.

Wow... after starting my new job, I'm going to be starting to work toward a Masters Degree (if I can afford it). Maybe I should look into counseling and child / adolescent psychology?! Thanks for thought-provoking question. :)

If I had to give up computer science and graphic design, I think I'd end up in chemistry, or perhaps become a writer.

Hm. Hard to imagine of a circumstance in which I wouldn't be able to code. I guess having my hands chopped off would be one, but then that would nuke my second interest... music!
