If I had to give up AI/Computer Science, I'd probably go for pure math or something.

Without Religious Studies or Philosophy or Political Science, I'd probably resort to electronics and nuclear physics, as that's my career background. Actually, I'm kind of planning that because honestly, who can get a job as a stand-up philosopher these days?

I would die, most certainly, if art wasn't influencing my life.

But, if it never exsisted, I would either go into animal hehavior or botany.

If I couldn't be an English professor (still an open question, incidentally), I think I'd become a high school band director. Although the prospect of being a "lifestyle guru" à la Martha Stewart (except without the prison time) appeals, too.
