Happy Turkey Day Birthday!!! 🎂 I'm 54. Where in Illinois do you live? I'm in the Peoria area. I've been off & on of lj since 2004ish, but I couldn't log into my old account (I think I can now, but my old friends from back then are mostly gone, so I'm just using this one now). I used to write mostly poetry and metaphoric ramblings back when I was @velvetjademuse but now I'm more of a slice-of-life blogger. I'm pretty much a live and let live person, so I'm usually cool about my friends list, but sometimes there is just something off with someone that sets off some red flags--and I'd be tempted to delete them then. No favorite tv shows as I don't watch much tv, but my favorite movies are usually rockumentaries like The Doors, Across the Universe (not really a rockumentary, but still very rock-centric) and my guilty pleasure is kid's movies. My all-time favorite book is A Wrinkle In TIme. Favorite food: sushi, ropa vieja (Cuban stew), beef empanadas. Drinks: water, coffee, white wine, bourbon, ginger beer. Bands: The Black Angels, The
