Under duress
Since everyone and their brother (literally) has asked me why I’m still single at the ripe old age of 35, I have decided to put an ad out for something that I’m told is called a ‘boy’ ‘friend’. I don’t think I like the idea of a ‘boy’ friend. What are grown-up ones called? Man-friends?

You know when you’re in the middle of writing a book and it’s not writing itself? Ideas dry up and you think: ‘ah bugger, guess I’ll have to leave it a week?’ Well it’s happened to me about three weeks in a row.

You can never go home again
Well, you can. Of course you can. But it’s never the same. I got on a plane and came back to Blighty for a bit - birthdays of relatives, break from the routine, the whole job-lot - and while everything’s the same, it isn’t.

Iconage! At last!
Been a bit busy, and Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac has been going all Microsoft girlie on me and crashing every two minutes (anyone who follows my Twitter feed will have noticed the sudden jump in swear words just now). Anyway, long and short of it is, I've finally got my ST:TNG and Sherlock icons together.
( And here we are - but beware! For they contain naughty words and many stolen movie/TV lines you may not recognise! )
