I know this another one of those $200 tax check things like before, and will probably further damage the economy, but for once, damn it, I gotta agree.

Phrack is apparently calling it quits. This is a very sad day. I discovered Phrack when I was in 7th grade, during my very first days on the internet. We had what I recall to be a 128k ISDN shared among 25 - 30 users or more. You were blazing at 0.2KB/sec, I think I saw 1.0KB/sec once or twice. firewall 1.4 available for download. You can now manipulate your firewall rules in 1 second granularity by editing flat text files.

Rebuilding sucks. The 80 GB in my computer died a few days ago. I replaced it with a 160, which is always nice, but it takes forever to get things back to how you like them.

The one upside is that the Linux install outlived the hard drive. :)
