Is it a good sign when a doctor who is examining you keeps saying "wow"? Because that's what my newest glaucoma specialist did the first (and only - so far) time she examined my eyes. She may also be the "hero" that my regular ophthalmologist (why is that such a hard word to spell?) is hoping we'll find. She's the only one I've seen so far who ( Read more... )

Shucks, bad timing...If the procedure were done near the end of October, your Halloween costume would be taken care of...{;>9

Seriously though, I hope the surgery goes smoothly, and the results are everything you could wish for.

Best of luck with the surgery.

I keep praying I don't inherit my dad's glaucoma as the pressure test is bad enough without having to worry about eye drops as I hate anything going near my eyes. It tends to take the optician at least two or three tries to get a successful test result as I keep flinching away.
