new years was probably the best one i've had in a long long time

i thought the highlight of my day was going to be working

nope
it wasn't

i went to dan's before work
had some tea and a pumpkin pie thing (it was delicious)

then i went to work

i was at work, on crutches, in a lot of pain

when i looked up and there was.....

so i thought this past weekend was going to suck because i was working 13 hours saturday

but.......
it didn't at all

friday night i hung out with dan for a little bit and it was amazing
we saw a shooting star on the way to his house

and then we sat on his couch, under a very soft blanky, and just kind of closed our eyes and talked

so
it's 2:00 in the morning

and i just spent about an hour and a half sitting on the sea wall with dan

can i just say
that he brightens my day so much

sitting on the sea wall, freezing my butt off was probably the highlight of my day

he just made my day so much better
