I'm a 5th grade math teacher!! Just accepted the job today, and I start next week.

Update on my brother's condition. They took him to the hospital and they found a mass in his brain. He has to go in for an MRI for more information and could go into surgery as soon as tomorrow. Please keep him and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Welp, Lifehouse is in 2 days! I'm getting more and more excited! I really hope I have someone to go with.. I have 2 tickets. 104 is having a Studio 104 performance with Lifehouse Wednesday morning and I've been entering on-line and listening to 104 non stop trying to score tickets. Early Friday morning (midnight) I got a phone call from Christina telling me DJ, my friend from school, was killed in a car accident. I wasn't really that good of friends with him, but I knew him pretty well. He was friends with my roommates so he was over at out apartment all the time. My throat hurts so bad I can hardly swallow. I went to the doctor today and I have a throat infection. I feel fine everywhere else.. just my throat is killing me. So he put me on meds for my throat and a slight congestion I have and hopefully they will clear this mess up soon ( Read more... )

Lifehouse is coming to Houston and I'm soooooo excited!! I think I'm going with Krista and her friend Suellen. Krista has never seen them in concert before, so that's super exciting! And Ben Carey is their touring guitarist who used to be with Savage Garden, so I'm uber excited to get to see him in a different setting after several years! I ( Read more... )
