Writer's Block: Life of the Party

This isn't a party trick so much as an unusual ability.  I've always had a really strong sense of smell, but now I'm not so sure.  :(  My sense of smell use to make me miserable, and this year I've noticed less olfactory torture affecting my life.  Seems like an odd complaint, but sometimes that which causes misery also creates much pleasure.  My

I started reading, thinking "oo party trick, I shall steal this and make it my own, yet also call upon her to perform it at my whim, hah!".

Now I'm just depressed and feel undeserving of my common nose and unexceptional sense of smell. I'll trade you for some hair.
