I just saw 'Walk the Line' that bio pic about Johnny Cash with Reese Witherspoon, who I hate almost as much as Daniel Radcliffe and Hayden Christensen, even though she can be quite endearing. Wait, I don't hate her anywhere near as much as I hate them ( Read more... )

To be picky, didn't he buy the house before he got addicted to amphetamines and couldn't pay the bills?
I could be wrong.
But I enjoyed the movie nevertheless.

Love the last one.
Christians can be total dickheads.
Wait, I probably shouldn't be saying that. :P

Farrout, they're both good.
And both address a lot of my problems with Christian music, but also a lot of music in general.

its absolutely true! some of the biggest dickheads i know are very much religious :P

why does it address your problems with christian music? what problems do you have with christian music? my only problem with christian music is christian rock, people used to say rock music was of the devil, but now its used to spread the word. kinda makes me wonder what else theyre getting wrong. well, more like it makes me wonder when they'll realise theyre getting it wrong :P

I imagine you haven't gotten yourself into a culture that's saturated with it, though. I dunno. I just can't stand the stuff. I mean some of it is alright, I don't mind bands like Switchfoot, Lukas, even Blindside.
It's mainly the "praise and worship" genre that gets my goolies. It all sounds the same to me, and most of it... Just doesn't seem to have any heart. Like it's just some cliches thrown together to pump out a record.
Something about that quote, the dying in the gutter one, just clicked.
Meh.
