For those who do not know I will be leaving my current living space (hopefully soon) and moving on to bigger and better things. 
Thankfully those bigger and better things do not pull me from the MI / suburbs of Detroit I know and love. 
My rent is going up to a whopping 1,005 per month, not including any utilities.  Needless to say that is too much

That's awesome! Trust me, spending six years at a title company, I've seen how stressful the process can get. But it's also super exciting, and I'm sure it will all be worth it. I will say a prayer that everything works out. And hey, I would totally be willing to join the unpacking/painting/gardening party. :)
