Well, you know me and the hot angstiness. Actually, I'm a little surprised that everyone seems to be latching on to the angst because I swear to you I legitimately tried to not make it that angsty!

This is so not what I was expecting, but it's also totally wonderful. I anticipated s2!Rose making an appearance... which would have made for a completely different dynamic. I love the tone you've set here-- and showing how easily Rose could have been hardened, had her wanderlust been nurtured in a different manner.

IS IT WRONG THAT I WANT A SEQUEL?

ETA: OH, AND ALSO. I love how Tyler kind of fell for the Doctor, just a little. Her being affected by him saying Rose's name... ohhhhh my heart.

Well, I have this weird thing about canonical-characterisation plausibility, so I felt I needed a version of Rose who came pre-installed with being game for some selfcest, or else I'd be writing even more of an epic multichapter explaining how S2 Rose and S4 Rose finally arrive at the conclusion that they should totally have the sex.

But now I kind of want to write about Time Agent Tyler's adventures in whatever dimension she lives in.

Oh, well done. Really really. I love that you took it seriously, but not too seriously. There's a great balance of angst, fun, and smut.

I especially think having the smut from Tyler's pov was inspired. I loved her tone. And perfect for the slight ridiculousness of the situation.

Thanks! I had a lot of fun writing it, though I was wondering whether turning Rose into a slightly different character in her alternate version would go over. I just don't think of our Rose as being the type of person who'd just be like, "Sex with myself? Sure!" Now, the Doctor? A much higher probability, given his greater and weirder life experience.

But now I'm fighting the urge to write an epic series of Time Agent Rose Tyler And The 51st Century fics :D
