Wow - I love the potency you inject into the symbols here. Especially the exchanging of necklaces - it was like a surrender of innocence, in a way. Laura Jean gave her lost innocence to Amy.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this. The teenage girls just took this in a whole different direction.

I love the way you wrote this in three sections. I think it was really effective. The characters here were very realistic. I really enjoyed this!

This is a great story :)

I loved all the little details, and how you captured both sides of the story. This was a fun read, and one with a meaning I could appreciate. This was seriously good!

Is it weird that I'm a little bit in love with Laura Jean? I always admire people who manage to work hard and kick ass with the faultiest of tools, which, in her case, was an isolated worldview and close-minded friendships.
