Go to western Nebraska . . . you can drop down through South Dakota and see the badlands, too. Seriously, the bluffs in the "panhandle" of Nebraska are really awesome. Nebraska's panhandle is a bit like the UP . . . every so often there are rumblings about seceding from Nebraska and joining Wyoming or just becoming their own state :)
