So, our daughter ended up being born when I was only 24 weeks pregnant. She was about 4 months early. Next Wednesday will be her one-month birthday. So hard to believe. I go to my next ultrasound tomorrow at 1:00PM. Supposedly we're going to be able to find out the baby's sex then. I'm much more concerned about baby's health, but hey, if we find out additional information, then so be it ( Read more... )

Just thought I'd mention it, but today marks our one-year anniversary for living in Alaska. We have had a good time here so far, even though sometimes it felt like we were trudging through the days. I am not religious, and he is Buddhist, so we are doing "Christmas" this year in our own style: Lots of food and lots of cozy time together. We may exchange gifts, but we haven't even bought each other anything, and it'll only be for the sake of gift-giving and gift-receiving. It's fun, after all! I like finding The Perfect Gift.
