And chapstick! I can say that we will never run out of or see the bottom of a chapstick because we have some in every room and pocket.
My goal is to finish every last bit of lotion we have before we move from Alaska (in 2.5 years). It's going to be a large feat though because I have quite the collection going. And we keep getting more.
I started a medication in October that inhibits my body from producing any oil/moisture, and I am SO.DRY.
Add to the fact that we just moved to North Dakota in the middle of winter, and yeah... I'm flying through chapstick.
I keep two in my purse (one of which has now been replaced), one in the car, one in the bathroom, one in the kitchen, one in Philip's truck, and one in the camera bag. Back in Nebraska, I kept a "dental bag" at my work, including floss, toothbrush & paste, and chapstick.
I used to use it occasionally. Now? It's life-or-death around here if I'm out!
Congratulations on finishing the bottle of lotion! ;) hehehe I keep little tubs of vaseline (good for chapped lips!).. and I swear to God, I've had one of them for over 5 years. HA!
How is the 'Trying to Conceive' thing going?
Why don't you post any of your photography any more? Your work in so beautiful.
Okay, this is a strange question, but do they make exfoliators for lips? It is so dry here that my lips have gone way past chapped. I should try vaseline!
Trying to conceive... still going. [Mantra: Open up. Open up. Open up. Share.] I'll write more in a longer post, I guess, because I have more than a comment box worth of things to say.
I should post more of my photos. I feel a little bit in a rut though. Lately I've used the weather as an excuse. The negative temperatures keep draining my batteries, and it's annoying to deal with bagging my cameras/lenses so they don't get foggy. But everything is so beautiful here, I really should get out there with my camera more.
i'd go with vaseline really the best tips on dry skin and such - apply RIGHT after washing. Whenver possible cover item after appling (such as socks on feet and even gloves on hands but most don't do that indoors). Won't help your lips much but the other tip i have is apply before bed. That helps a ton.
Maybe you should take some vitamin D supplements? i hear they can help counteract the extra melatonin produced (melatonin - produced at nighttime and is produced basiclly when vitamin D isn't around). Melatonin is also linked to seasonal mood disorders because of the higher levels in wintertime.
I too would love to see more photographs - but I never realized it was so hard to take pictures in alaska!
Question: How do you always write awesome entries?
I only use up small bottles of lotions. Anything over 5oz are hard :( Especially when I have over 20 bottles at a time... Presents from others or just pure indulgence on my own.
APPLE BUTTER? Believe it or not, I've only had it once. That sounds so cool!
