About 10 times or so over the last couple of weeks I've had almost the same conversation both online and in person with livejournal friends. They all go like this:

Getting ready to head off to Tahoe.
Flight leaves at something like 7:30 in the AM, which means I get to catch a 28X bus nice and early. I'm almost entirely packed and ready to go. Should be an exciting trip.

The world's greatest bartender.
I've just found out that George, the most kick-ass bartender whose path I've ever crossed, has passed away. For the past five years or so, George has been the regular bartender at what was Bound Hartford.
