This house buying stuff is tedious and extremely nerve wracking. Here I sit with some serious insomnia. I've taken 2 Klonopin 1mg and am on my second beer. I have shit to do in the morning. Here's yet another shit thing about my anxiety- when I know I have to get up early, I obsess over it and check the clock like every 30 mins thinking to myself "Oh shit, now i only have X amount of time to sleep". One of the contractors I called called back and it turns out he is just about 2 miles from the land we're buying. He estimated lower than what we had thought things would cost, plus he can help us with some finishing work (porch and additional half bath). Very nice guy, also recommended a friend that can come brush hog all the weeds and saplings ( Read more... )

I can't seem to get any of these companies to answer the phone so I can get an estimate for some site work on a new construction home we are hoping to buy. I am starting to get very anxious and antsy. It's overwhelming, trying to keep all this paperwork and such in order.
