WHen I listen to certain songs from my past that reminds me of a certain point or era in my life, my heart skips a beat and I can't tell if I'm sad or extremely happy. Does this happen to anyone else?

Of course. I think it happens to everyone. You're likely sad that you can't live in that moment again, but happy that it happened. That's how I feel.
