So the doctor FINALLY calls me today with the test results from my biopsy...yeah, it's cancer and it has started to spread to the other side of my thyroid. I have to now get that side removed and hopefully I'll be cured but I have to do iodine tests to make sure it hasn't spread elsewhere. Everything went well with my surgery yesterday. Surprisingly I was out of the hospital and back home yesterday evening. I can't fully lift my head, and I am in a lot of pain. The meds are helping a little, I just wish they would put me to sleep. I'm not so horse, but it does hurt to talk. Anyway, I just thought I would give everyone a heads up. ( Read more... )

I miss the 5 minutes between class where you got to see all your friends. You would laugh joke around and waste time until the last second for the tardy bell to ring. I hated high school while I was in it, but sometimes I wish I could go back.
