 I got the girls a pet yesterday. A 4 month old dwarf hamster named Ralphie. Some lady on Freecycle got it for her son and he didnt want it, came with the cage, lil house, ball, everything. I offered up a Barbie toybox on Freecycle last night and a woman came to get it today. I was using some huge, heavy shears to trim my bushes out front when I saw her pull up. I turned to finish the side I was doing before she got out of her car ( Read more... )

I just realized 30 minutes ago that the city is NOT putting on a huge fireworks show tomorrow. Its TONIGHT. I called Kevin at work to see if he'd be coming home early from work. Had my 2nd interview this morning, I'm pretty sure I wont be getting the job. They had 6 people on the list and I was #2. A girl I used to work with is #6 and she is way more qualified than I am and has a Bachelor's (which I dont). So I bet she gets it damnit.
