That's actually EXACTLY what I meant! When I said "some of us" believe in a utopian prehistoric humanity, I didn't mean to include myself--I personally just think it's a way for feminists to make themselves feel better for getting fucked over for so long. But yes, you're right. There's no good or bad--there's just complicated! And for some reason people want so badly to believe in absolutes. Maybe it's Plato's fault? I don't know enough about philosophy. Or maybe it's just part of the human condition: we're scared shitless of nuance.

And it might very well be MG? I know his first name was Michael. In my head his name is and always will be Douchebeard, of course.
