I'm almost done with NJ which is good because after spending about 3 months here I'm pretty fed up of first army,NJ bullshit. We had a company photo taken which was kinda lame but whatever more stupid army bullshit. Today was "fun" we went through the gas chamber again. I've been through once before in Basic Training, It was bad we went in removed masks and had to say name rank and social security. Blisters suck, open blisters suck more, open blisters and wondering through the woods with a shit ton of gear for 2 hours sucks even more. That was pretty much my day today, We did land navigation so they gave us a compass some points and an azimath and let us find out where we needed to go, awesome. Today we didn't have first formation until almost 2 it was great we slept in, but from there we drew weapons and did a 5 mile road march again with 70 lbs of gear but I wore different boots this time and didn't tape up or tie it tight enough, so Now I have a major blister on my heel and tomorrow we have a day of walking through the woods in full ( Read more... )
