Mogget left me a present by my bed today. I found it when I returned from dinner. I'm flattered he gives me gifts, but it's not like I really need a dead mouse. I wonder if I could get one of the house elves to take it? I'm worried it will make the room smell terrible if I put in the bin.

Some of the animals on the grounds might eat rats. There were some snakes back when I studied here, so maybe one of us (TA's or Professors) could help you get rid of it. Would you mind that?
