Thanks to everyone for their wishes for Shadow. However, either this morning or during the night he got worse.  The vet tried to get him to sit up on his chest this morning(not even up all the way on his legs) and he would just flop over.  He wouldn't eat at all today.  Okay, so maybe this is a tad weird, but I have decided that the coolest new sewing doo dad that I have recently acquired is the magnet pin holder.  I sit in front of the tv, hand sewing whatever, and I remove a pin.  I then kind of toss the pin towards the hot pink magnety thingy and POOF, the pin magically jumps from my hand to the magnet.  I ( Read more... )

 I was talking to some ladies today at Challenge of the Heart/Novice and we were discussing goals. So I am back from my 2 day quick trip to NC.  My sister gets married a week from tomorrow.  Her beau arrived from Australia Thursday in Seattle where she lives.  They come to NC on Monday and then the week of pre-wedding foo begins.  Can I get an "Oy vey"?

 So I went to a mexican restaurant with a colleague tonight who is house sitting nearby.  Two glasses of sangria later and a huge burrito called the "Big Chihuahua" and I am one happy girl.  :)   I should go grade some final exams while I am this happy(heh).  Wow, 2 glasses of wine and I am giddy.  Sigh.
