So my tour of Great Britain's capitals went well. People were lovely, and I had warm beer. I miss warm beer

Belper to Buxton isn't too bad - just straight up the A6 through Matlock and Bakewell - only 20 miles or so. Not much by Canadian distance standards. If I'd have known you were going from London to Bakewell, I'd have given you something to take up to my parents (I'm in Reading at the moment).

/In the night Garden/ is the best bit of childrens television for a decade. Derek Jacobi narrates it and sings the songs. Kits makes us sing the songs to her but is very forgiving when we make up the words to the Iggle Piggle and Maka Paka songs.
