Brandaan TW was born on tuesday, April 8.

Laurie just emailed me saying that he got colic and died earlier today after Loren rushed him to the WSU vet hospital in Pullman.

He was barely three days old....this is always so sad. You should look at his picture on the TWF website, he was an adorable foal.

driving down to corvallis from portland today, i saw a girl riding her horse in a big field with her dog waving at the highway traffic. luckiest girl in the world.

For the summer I will be attending school, volunteering at the Chintimini Wildlife rehabilitation center here in corvallis, and now i have a wonderful job helping the owner of a private training barn take care of her property and her horses. I went on a brutal hike this morning...but it was so satisfying that I'm going to do it again tomorrow and see if I can actually make it up to the top. There were some people in front of me and I already felt weird so I climbed back down to my car. I think I made it about half way up to the top. Don't worry I took pictures and everything:

i don't want to go home, but i don't want to stay in ellensburg. i'm ready to disappear. i'll be home the 31st through the 18th but dont expect to speak to me.

Puck is sleeping lazily on my lap, my parents left a few hours ago, i've been sleeping since then, exhausted to tears. i'm pretty sure puck is going to be a hard kitten to leave behind when i go back to corvallis, no pets allowed in my new apartment, he will stay with dan. i'm worried about everything, there's no one i can really talk to. dan says ( Read more... )
