100% YES to everything you said here! \O/

I was so glad that Chloe's return wasn't sugar-coated, that it was a complex thing, coming back when the trust wasn't all there b/c of things she'd done in the past.

And HALLELUJAH to the flight scene! Of course it'll happen in their RL eventually, but it was so nice to have that thread taken up again. ^_____^

IKR?! I admit I was wary about this episode and thought it would be all Chloe all and that it would be a 100% Hero Chloe ep, that wasn't the case. I loved having the appropriate characters express their doubt about her in varying degrees and that Lois believed in her, because that's her baby cous' and she loves her like that. But really, Clark. CLARK! and LOIS! These two will be the sweet death of me.

I totally agree. At least the SV writers didn't totally backpedal on this one where Chloe was concerned and say 'all is forgiven'. Even the scene between Oliver and Chloe shows that there are some issues still to be addressed. And yes to Lois' scene with Clark about trusting himself.
And I love that he flew, even if it was in the VR world.

Your review is wonderful, and I agree 100%

Superman is the symbol of Hope for the world, but Lois is the symbol of Hope for Superman.
SUCH BEAUTIFUL WORDS, couldn't have said it better myself :D

Collateral made me happy :)

*applauds* I just want to quote this entire post. It's just so brilliant and I agree with all of it. You say what I'm thinking, except you have this ability to do it eloquently, which I admire.

I was concerned at how they were going to handle Chloe's return but I was pleasantly surprised. And I LOVED that Lois was the one that Clark trusted more than anyone else. Like you said, she just encouraged him to trust himself and he did.

Superman is the symbol of Hope for the world, but Lois is the symbol of Hope for Superman.
Beautifully said.

I want to draw hearts all over this meta.

Agreed totally. The dialogue was brilliant - Trust YOURSELF.

Like Lois said to him in Blank - trust your gut.

She's consistent in wanting him to believe in himself, but when he falters and has doubts with that, she'll believe in him always.
