I'm more or less open to anything when it comes to graphic novels and comics. So far I've read a bunch of hellboy, GI Joe from somewhere in the 80s, and Watchmen, V, and Tom Strong from Alan Moore.

it's cliche now that sin city is a movie, but if you can find anything by Frank Miller you should buy it. and go for the first editions of his sin city novels because they include really awesome cover art in the back.

I read 300 a few months ago, which is now obviously a movie. I've also seen Sin City (movie) but I'm going to check out the original ones. I hear his batman comics are pretty awesome too.
