Friday 6th December:

Rubbish sleep. Losing faith in the Heights vitamins. Ironically I got an email asking me if I'd be interested in doing a focus group about how Heights have transformed my life for the better. The incentive was 200 quid. I immediately said yes and sent them a video telling them how much better I was sleeping.

Thursday 5th December:

Less than three weeks till Christmas. Crikey!

Epic hangover this morning kept me in bed till almost 11:00. After breakfast and yoga I felt almost human again. Wondering if the Heights magic potions are working miracles after all despite my best efforts to ruin my body.

Wednesday 4th December:

Breakfast, Duo Lingo, yoga, then kick-off call for new job at 10:00. Another investment banking project with Taylor, looking at their CEO's media profile. Easy and quite interesting. Perfect job to fill the gap before next week's final conference report of the year. By the end of the day I had only two pages to go. Well done ( Read more... )

Tuesday 3rd December:

Alarmingly hungover considering I only had two pints. Allowed myself a lie in till 10.00 then groggily attempted Duo Lingo over breakfast then yoga.

Did a bit of admin, invoicing up to date, etc. No other imminent work so took the opportunity to do some more online Christmas shopping. Spent about 350 quid but the good news is ( Read more... )

Monday 2nd December:

Tired but cheery. Leisurely breakfast followed by longish yoga. There was a hint of sunshine so although I had a few chores I should have been doing I decided to embrace the daylight and go on an extended run. Sunday 1st December:

Poor Daisy had a hacking cough for much of the night which did not facilitate the best night's sleep for either of us. We got up to administer Calpol in the middle of the night and I don't think either of us really went back to sleep properly after that. Still, I managed to keep her in bed until 07:30.

Saturday 30th November:

Terrible sleep. Woke at 04:30 feeling dehydrated. Rehydrated myself then consequently couldn't get back to sleep and had to make multiple nocturnal visits to the lav. It was a groggy David who set off to parkrun on a damp and misty morning. Strangely mild, however, and I was quite warm by the time I arrived.

Friday 29th November:

Allowed myself a bit of a lie in. Breakfast, Duo Lingo, yoga. Then went out for a run. Met my nice French neighbour Mel properly for the first time. They have just had a baby so I offered them Daisy's potty which she only used about three times.

Up early today determined to crack the beast that is the Malaysian health report. Before that I did not one but two rounds of Adriene. Very pleased to have caught up with her November calendar.
