    While reading the journal entries of the student studying in Sweden in "Writing Across Culture", I was able to identify with her experiences. Her descriptions of Sweden reminded me a great deal of Japan. I found a kind of sweetness in her growth over the entries that illustrates how you can go through so much cultural shock and yet eventually ( Read more... )

    While reading from "Writing Across Culture" I was able to relate to many of the things experienced by students studying abroad. Often times I would be very annoyed with certain aspects of the country I was in compared to the United States.
