Heh, where do I begin? Actually, for starters I'd start looking for accomodation asap - rents are VERY expensive in Dublin and student-friendly property goes quickly, making it very difficult to find somewhere as term approaches in October. Daft.ie is a reliable rental site. Life in my native city is a very big topic, but seriously, feel free to mail me at urchinette @ gmail.com and ask any Dublin-related questions you like, from good places to live to the best bookshops to the weirdness of Trinity.
