So, as some of you know I have a new plan for the next fairy outfit. It involves way more than I thought it would, but as it is still October I am still feeling optimistic. I am making a scale mail dress (or so I am saying). Some peeps have asked about progress so I am posting a slide show of progress thus far. Many many more hours are to come. It

don't await too eagerly. It feels laboriously slow when other people look at it. Hah! I am all "wow, look how much I did" and they are all "thats it?"

Unfortunately I discovered what I was afraid of.. the rings I bought were a tad to big for the scales (I was expecting them to be a bit bigger).. it still looks 'ok' but you can easily see the gaps and it's not nearly as tight as the scales you got.

I think you've gotten the hang of it, but if you need some help with the leaves or whatnot, lemme know, I'll see how I can help

I have the hang of it for now, but I am not fitting it yet. I assure you that once I get to the parts that need adjusting I will prob need help. I am just waiting until I get there to ask. I understand it intellectually but may have to be shown it once or twice.

hey, have you been using your pliers? Think I might have to orde rmore pairs and enslave others to put two rings on each scale

No, actually I'm not using those pliers I got, you're welcome to them actually. I bring them next time I think of it.. worst case, 2 weeks :]
