My mom is visiting for the weekend plus a couple of days, but after staying last night she headed down to Orlando to see my older brother and isn't coming back until around lunchtime tomorrow. When one is not sleeping, do not do a google search which will of course ultimately link you to Ebay, where you will start following crazy search paths around and consider bidding on items. With no sleep this will seem like a great idea, but it probably isn't.

The New Year's Eve is always such a paradox of thoughts as one reflects on the past year and looks forward to the new year with hopes for better times.
