Well, after about 10 hours of travel, yesterday, I finally got to my hotel. I spent about another 3 to 4 hours doing other stuff related to the day, however, as I was calling baggage claim to check on my luggage and eventually going out to buy new clothes and toiletries to replace the stuff that was in my luggage. I must have picked up a cold somewhere because last night I absolutely could not get to sleep.  That's usually an early signal to me that I'm getting sick.  I think I ended up with about 3 hours of sleep, all told.  I also have a headache and my stomach is a bit upset.  Not fun.

At least I'll get to call in sick to work...

So sad news.  Today I stopped at Northgate after work and when I came out to my car, I noticed that there were two spots of damage on siding for the passenger side window.  On closer inspection, it looks like someone tried to pry the siding away from the window.  I think I can rule out road damage since the damage appeared in two different places ( Read more... )

I had an interesting start to my day, today. When I went down to the garage to get my car to drive into work I found that the once-protective steel plate on the entrance to the garage was heavily damaged and looked like it had been pried apart.
