I thought I'd take the time to say hello from Boston. My meeting went well, this week, and Annie flew in last night so we begin our three day site seeing tour of Boston! Apparently the million-and-some dollar toilets that the city of Seattle wasted money on are now back on Ebay with starting bids under $1000. So if you or someone you know would like a relic from one of Seattle's biggest wastes of money (or, maybe, you just want a stand-alone, self-cleaning toilet for your backyard) now is the chance. :-)

Having an apartment where you can watch the Seafair fireworks display is AWESOME! First we got to see the stunt plane flying around, then we got treated to the HALF HOUR fireworks display. I kept expecting to see the finale but the fireworks just kept coming until about 10:25 or so. :-)

For those that don't know, California had a Proposition on the ballot that originally had meaning, but was eventually rendered obsolete. As such, the supports wrote "DO NOT VOTE FOR PROPOSITION 91" in the "For" column of the For/Against statements. The Against was clearly blank ( Read more... )
