Eich in Saint Cloud is still going strong, and Diehl in Bellingham was one of the places I looked for my first car.

I don't see any ads for Diehl around here. The dealership where I got my Subaru has only been around since 1960. Actually I think they're still in the same original showroom.

The first car I remember was my parents' 76 Seville, which they bought new from Coral Cadillac in Pompano Beach, FL. Each car from that dealer (for many years, & including ours) had a dealer decal on the trunk that simply read read: "Coral" was the same size, font, & script as the Cadillac badge on the opposite end of the trunk. As far as I know that dealership still exists & still sells Cadillacs... as well as (ick) Hummers.

I remember cars in and around Atlanta with an "I got mine at Boomershine!" plate on the front.

Also, I believe that I have seen a few Caddies plying I-95 through Georgia back in the day with that "Coral Cadillac" script exactly as you described.

Oh, and where have I seen the Felix the Cat Chevy dealership sign? I know I've seen that for real at some point or another.

I've seen Felix! He's down near USC and right by the Shrine Auditorium!

I think the sign still exists but not the dealership... at least not with the same name?

I don't know about the name, but I'm pretty sure the sign still overlooks a car dealership.
