We spent a weekend in Brussels. It is sooooo cool.
Belgian Beer is by far the best beer in the world. You should check out this bar called "Delirium" it holds the Guinness Book of World Records for having the largest beer selection in the world. They have over three hundred beers on tap and their menu has over two thousand beers on stock.
The Grand Platz is absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend it.
Waffles, cheese and chocolate. And really super nice people.
Brussels is also the government seat of the European Union and so it is an amazingly cosmopolitan town. There are always protests and rallies and meetings and things going on.
Just a word of warning. If you take Ryan Air into Charlaroi, there is a bus you have to take into town. It costs 16 Euro and it takes you to the down town train station in about an hour. Take it. If you don't, you will have a very long taxi ride that costs 100 Euro.
I could easily see myself living in Brussels and be totally happy.
yes he is actually, every now and then some random person messages me while I'm on him to comment on that, its a good way to find out who the real nerds are.
