I feel a little bit better. Going to Athens today was needed, and I enjoyed the company. I cleaned my house completely and cooked myself a nice dinner and cheered myself with Earl Grey and lemon. I didn't get the job at Starbucks. The manager sounded genuinely sorry when she told me, but still...I'm not pleased. It wasn't surprising news, but disappointing all the same, you know?

I'll be happy to leave the house tomorrow morning, although I suppose it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I ate some good food. I made a little progress on one of my research papers. i gots a job with the writing center again. i'll be in parkhurst hall for four hours a week, probably from 5-7 on tuesday and 6-8 on wednesday. you'll have to come and visit me, it's a requirement. the best thing about it is that even though i'm starting this late in the semester, i'm still getting a full paycheck and the first installment comes ( Read more... )
