yesterday after work i needed to be somewhere else. i ended up at the falconer where i had one newcastle after another, reading my book, eating soggy chips with vinegar and chatting with paul about ireland. and it was great to find myself there alone in a little far away corner of my life.

here comes the rain again, falling on my head like a memory, falling on my head like a new emotion. i want to walk in the open wind, i want to talk like lovers do, i want to dive into your ocean, is it raining with you?

so yes, i like rain. it makes trees and flowers and grass and tomatos and onions and sprouts grow - so that people can eat sandwiches. lots of them. all at once.
without rain there would be no cheese and definitely no meatballs...

i think i'm cured of my aversion to rain.
to be continued. time for work - sunday night. i love how this job completely shuffles time.

i love the feeling - exploding with laughter, all the nonsense behind the counter, the surprises from the other side. people are truly astonishing.
i've ended up at a very strange little corner of america..and today i'm loving it.
