I haven't done much of any Christmas shopping or planning at all. I keep trying to get my silly work done first, plus I was waiting for some freelance checks to come my way... and this afternoon I stumbled across a pair of shoes that I decided I absolutely had to get for someone. Hopefully not five inch with pointed toes

I have long narrow feet and so show shopping presents real problems
It was really difficult when I was military as I had to special order......heels

oy. no pointed toes and heels, thank you! :D I'm trying to think if the giftee even owns any high heels. I know I don't!

I have a somewhat narrow heel, but not enough for special orders. What a pain for you! I solve the problem by not wearing pumps. :) But I can get away with that.

And no pointy toes for me either. My little toes are weird in that they sort of lay under the next toes a little. So tight shoes like that result in instant massive blisters. Even shoes that fit well cause problems if I'm doing a ton of non-stop walking. The summer I spent in New York for an internship was painful! We were poor students so walked everywhere, I'm sure many miles a day. I had blisters on blisters on top of blisters. They would never harden up into callouses either. Ah...good times. :D Actually, it was a pretty awesome summer. :D
