Lots of questions:
Do you own a smartphone? Which one? Why do you like it? What carrier are you on?
real QWERTY or Virtual keyboard?
Should I get a Touch Pro2 and put Android on it, or should I get a mytouch 3g slide?
Would you buy an iphone 3g with a cracked screen for 55$?

I'm a fan of slider phones because I find trying to type on a screen awkward.
I really like the flexibility Google Navigation/Maps has. The only real shortcoming I've found with it is that if you run Google Maps as a GPS unit in your car and have it on your dash, the heat causes it to stop drawing power through the power cable and your phone will die.
I probably wouldn't buy one with a cracked screen for $55. I think the standard Droid can be gotten for $99 through certain venues if you look around enough. Why not shell out the extra $45 for a new one with insurance?

I have a blackberry 8820 - IT DOESN'T HAVE A CAMERA. So I'm kinda desperate for a phone, and I'm a google fangirl, so android is the ticket for me.
I'd totally get a Droid if I weren't on Tmobile. CDMA, sigh...
