1) GG on finishing highschool.

2) Making new friends at Reed is easy because almost Freshman will be in the same situation as you.

the issue isn/t really about making new friends at our next schools. it sounds ridiculous, but s&m is a very unique experience. this is not simply something our students repeat to imply that we are special; it is actually true, and i only recently realized it. it/s too difficult to verbalize, so people rarely believe it when it/s said, but leaving this place is tough. i hated that school sometimes, but i loved everyone in it...even the people i detested.

and jon: i might change my mind about where i/m going. not sure, yet, but dammit, it/s tempting.

The selfish me really wishes you were coming to chapel hill, but I know you are going to learn/do/etc. amazing things at Reed. And besides, if you absolutely hate it there, you can always transfer.

I'm glad I got to see you today, even if it was only brief.

Jon, you are, and will always remain no matter where you are, my hero. I thank you so much for taking me almost under your wing and helping to make my junior year one to remember. :)

Just remember to get on AIM once in a while and post on dis heah LJ. And if ever you manage a visit or two back to NCSSM... we will be entertained. :) As it stands now, we're gonna have some stories to tell our juniors... :D We love you more than you will ever know!
