Oh season four is SO GREAT for so many reasons, mostly 'cause Donna is full of sass of every sort. But season five just blows it out of the water. Plus Matt Smith is so, so, so good (and that's huge for me to say, because I genuinely adore David Tennant's Doctor to an almost unhealthy degree). askjfalj it's so exciting! I'm glad you're getting excited about season five because it is absolutely worth it :D

I'm looking forward to Matt Smith. I, too, love David Tennant, but every episode I just HURT because Rose isn't there, and I think it will be easier to take once the doctor is being played by someone else, as silly as that sounds.

Was the Christmas special a precursor to season 6?

Donna is so great. I was never overly attached to Rose (probably because I don't think Russell T. Davis is the greatest writer out there...) but I absolutely know what you mean. And it does get better, and not only that, the new Doctor is so, so much fun :D Oh you have so much to look forward to.

The Christmas special was perfectly balanced in the center between seasons 5 and 6, but worked as a stand alone episode. And it was SO GREAT. The writing for the newer seasons is so so good *geeks forever*

It was amazing wasn't it?! And I agree; although I love love David Tennant, I have to admit that Matt Smith is the best Doctor ever!
